About the Author
Jennie Morton
Alongside her full time theatre arts training, Jennie’s childhood was spent going between her mother’s dancing school and the BBC Studios in London, where her father was a TV Director. Her own performance career began with a film acting role at the age of five, then a child role with the London Festival Ballet with whom she toured for five years. After graduating her arts training, she performed as a Ballet dancer, then a West End musical theatre performer, and later became lead singer of a London-based Big Band.
Jennie is now an Osteopath with a Masters in Psychology and is a specialist in the field of Performing Arts Medicine. She co-authored the syllabus for the Masters degree in Performing Arts Medicine at University College London and is in demand as a international speaker on the topic of health in the arts. Her work has been published in many medical and trade journals and she is the author of several books.
After many years studying the physics of field consciousness, Jennie now offers online courses and live workshops on the connection between consciousness, creativity, field coherence, and health, guiding people to optimal performance and self expression. She also offers individual health, voice, & performance coaching consultations, & health practitioner training courses.
